Try this Immune Boosting Concoction that you can make at home.

We need optimal health to function at our best selves but we are also faced with so many things that can lead to a weakened immune system. From chronic stress, illnesses, to things that we use on or put into our bodies. Thousands of people get sick every year from the Flu or even just allergies. Growing up in the Caribbean, my parents and grandparents always use herbs and “bush” remedies to ward off colds and to heal the body naturally from various ailments. Today I will share with you an immune boosting concoction that I use all the time for some added support. I even have a jar in our refrigerator right now.

What you will need: A mason jar or glass bottle, 1 head of garlic, 4 inches of ginger or more if you want it to be more potent, 3 lemons, 1 cup of organic honey.

Directions: Peel and cut ginger into small pieces, Peel and cut garlic into small pieces. Mix the honey and lemon in the glass jar and add the pieces of ginger and garlic. Close jar and shake. Place in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before use.

For use: Take 1- 2 tsp full 1 to 3 times daily depending on your needs.

  3. ginger, honey and lemon

This concoction is very easy to make and will definitely help to keep those allergies and flu symptoms at bay.
