My favorite wines right now.

I have become a wine lover in the past 3 years. I have to admit, I do not know much about wines as I’m not an expert in the field, but I do know when something is tasty. Lol. So today, I will share with you my 2 favorite wines right now. Plus, they are very affordable.

The first is a white wine, Pino Grigio. It is called Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi and made in California. It is a dry wine that has a balanced, crisp citrusy – peach taste. I use this in my recipes whenever I make Tuscan chicken and shrimp pasta. I also like having it with salmon. It also goes well with cured meats and mushroom. It is my go to chill time drink when I am watching movies or just relaxing.

Second on my list is a red wine, Cabernet Sauvignon. It is from the 19 Crimes family. I got into this wine after a friend introduced me to it because of the very cool app that you can download which tells you about the crime that the prisoner on the bottle committed. 19 Crimes is a story about persons who were banished to another country for crimes that they committed, and each wine has a different prisoner on the bottle. The Cabernet Sauvignon has bright red to crimson hues. It has intense vanilla aromatics balanced with red currents, violets and mulberry fruits. It has a subtle sweetness. I like to have this with red meat and I also use it in my sauce when I am making baked chicken or oven roasted meats.

I would like to start collecting wines. It so fun to know the history of the wines or the vineyard. Let me know in the comments if you have had any of these wines before. And of course I would like you all to make suggestions of wines that I can try. As always, thanks for reading. xoxo
