I am a wine lover but occasionally I love a good cocktail. I have had these two cocktails on Cape Cod and I am in love. I keep going back for more. However, since we are all staying home, I thought I’d share the recipes for them with you all, so we can all have some fun with a at home happy hour.
The first is a Pistachio Martini that I had at Embargo restaurant here on Cape Cod. It is sweet and milky and you don’t start feeling the effects until it is too late. Lol

Pistachio Martini
Ingredients:
1 oz. Monin Pistachio syrup
1 1/2 oz. triple sec
2 oz. half & half or Bailey’s Rum cream
1 1/2 oz. Stoli Vanil Vodka
ice
Directions:
Shake all ingredients and pour into glass. Serve immediately.
The second cocktail is a Jack Berry Margarita. My husband and I have this whenever we go to Chili’s restaurant. It is sweet and sour full of blackberry goodness.

Jack Berry (Blackberry) Margarita
Ingredients: Makes 8 servings.
Blackberry Puree:
2 pints fresh blackberry
1/4 cup sugar
Juice of 1/2 of a lime
Lime sugar:
2 cups sugar
Zest of 3 limes
1 lime wedge
Margaritas:
2 cups Tequila
1/2 cup triple sec
2 limes
ice
Directions:
- For the puree: Add the blackberries to a medium saucepan with the sugar and lime juice. Cook over low heat, covered for 20 minutes. Strain to extract as much juice/puree as possible. Place in the fridge to cool.
2. For the lime sugar: Mix together the sugar and lime zest. Use a piece of lime to moisten the rim of each margarita glass, and then dip in the lime sugar.
3. For the Margaritas: In a blender, add 1 cup of the tequila, 1/4 cup of triple sec, 1/4 cup of sugar, and the juice of 1 lime. Fill the blender with ice and blend until smooth. Then add as much blackberry puree as desired, 1/3 to 1/2 cup. Pour into rimmed glasses and serve immediately.
There you have it guys two of my favorite cocktails right now. They are delicious and you will want to have them again and again. Let me know in the comments if you have ever had The Pistachio Martini or the Jack Berry (Blackberry) Margarita. Also, please recommend some good cocktails that I can try. As always, thanks for reading. xoxo
