My top Apps to create and edit as a content creator.

I love creating content for my readers here on my blog and for those who follow me on social media. I see it as art and I love art. With an ever evolving world, technological advances have allowed us to be able to do many things ourselves that we once had to pay someone else to do. A quick google search or a couple minutes watching a YouTube video can help you learn a lot of things. Today I want to share with you some applications that I use to create and edit the content that I share with my audience daily.

Canva

Canva is available as a mobile app and is also available in a desktop version. There is a free version and a paid version with more features. You can use this to create numerous content for numerous platforms. There are also many templates on it that you can use to create things for other purposes apart from things for social media like letters, menu cards etc. Their categories include:

Print with Canva, where you can create printable files for:

T-shirts, posters, business cards, labels, flyers, invitations, brochures, postcards, menu cards and many more.

Social media, where you create content for different social media uses:

Facebook, Instagram Twitter posts, stories, videos and animated videos, cover art, advertisements, Whatsapp stories, twitter headers, Tumblr graphic, thumbnail and channel art for YouTube, pins for Pinterest, banner for Tumblr, Twitter, Soundcloud and twitch etc.

For social media and other uses.

I have used Canva to create flyers for clients, logos for clients as well as creating posts for social media like quotes.

Adobe Spark Post

Adobe Spark Post is similar to Canva, in that you can create the same kind of things on this app like social media posts, logos, animated posts etc. What sets it apart though, is that I think its much easier to use but Canva has way more options with regards to what you can create. It is also available on android and IOS, and has a web version. It is free to use but have some features, templates or upgrades that you have to pay for. I use Spark Post to get most of the images that I use on my blog. I also use it to create all of my Pins for Pinterest. They have a wide range of images, icon etc. that is of great quality to use for content. I have also used there many different colored backgrounds to create fashion designs on Kin custom and Printful for my eCommerce store at http://www.zaviawalker.com

Adobe Spark Videos

Spark Videos is only available in a web version but is great for creating videos for YouTube or for marketing purposes. There are different paid plans available with the lowest being $9.99 per month. Your video is in presented through different slides. They offer voice over for your videos, music as well as various layouts. Texts can also be added to your videos, or you can just have a slide with texts only. You are also able to attach your logo to your videos. I have used Adobe Spark Post to edit videos for my YouTube channel (Empey’s World). Check out my YouTube food/cooking videos to see how I used this video editing tool.

Adobe premiere Rush

Adobe Rush is another video editing tool. It is available for android and IOS as well as a desktop version. You get 3 free video exports and then you have to pay a monthly fee to use it. Prices range from $9.99 to $29.99 and comes with creative cloud storage. You can also add music or voice-overs to your video as well as different effects. It is much more easier to use than Adobe Spark Videos. I love using Adobe Premiere Rush to edit my style videos for my YouTube channel (Empey’s World). Check out my YouTube channel to see videos that I have created using this video editing tool.

Adobe Photoshop Express

Finally, Adobe Photoshop Express is an app that is available for android and IOS. Is it mainly for photo editing and photo sharing. They have many themes and effects to bring your photos to life suck as summer, spring, winter filters. You can even make collages and there are various layouts to choose from. You also have the option of resizing for the different social media uses such as a Facebook cover, blog post, or a YouTube thumbnail. I use Adobe Photoshop Express to edit most of the pictures that I post on Instagram and Facebook. For example, if I take a picture with my phone and it looks dull, I use the summer or spring filter to make the photo look brighter.

There you have it guys, all the tools I use for creating and editing my content. There are all easy to use and have lots of options available. Yes, some you will have to pay for after a while but I think the investment is worth it, especially if you are looking to monetize your blog or social media pages. Once again, thanks for reading. xoxo
